Peeling

Chemical peeling is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin on the face, neck or hands. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to peel off, on a controlled depth. The new, regenerated skin is smoother, more homogenous, less wrinkled with a younger, healthier general look. The most frequently used solutions in superficial and medium-depth peels contain alpha-hidroxy acids (lactic, glycolic, trichloroacetic). For deep peels carbolic acid (phenol) is used.

According to the type of complexion, age and associated damage (wrinkles, post-acne scars, freckles, melasma, sun spots, age spots) a certain type of local pre-peel treatment is chosen (when necessary), along with appropriate chemical solution and a topic treatment for the regeneration and maintenance period.
